This only just changes how you operate the 3 speeds. Kit includes Receiver assembly and Hard wired OR battery wall control with White and Ivory face plates. Same full function operation: High, medium, low, forward and reverse, and light dimming (incandescent, halogen, LED) capable. High is the same as speed 6, Medium is the same as speed 4 and Low is the same as speed 2.
In addition, this Next Generation kit is capable of adding additional transmitters to use on the same fan. You can have multiple wall controls and handheld remotes (sold separately).
